Research materials concerning the Admiralty oil depot fire at Llanreath, Pembroke Dock, in 1940, and in particular the actions of the fire brigades as well as the bravery of individual firefighters and the history of vessels involved in the incident, comprising copies and manuscript and typescript transcripts of fire brigade and Home Office logs and reports and other official records, copies of newspaper articles, copies of maps and plans, copies of photographs of firefighters and of the tug Gondia, and copies of aerial photographs taken by the Royal Air Force and the Luftwaffe relating to the fires both at Llanreath and at the Admiralty oil depot at Llandarcy in 1940, with related notes by Keith Mills and correspondence between him and a number of organisations and fellow researchers concerning firefighters' bravery awards and the copying of documents and photographs, and also notes by and collected from relatives of some of the firefighters; also included are Dyfed County Fire Brigade reports of investigations into the Amoco refinery fire (1983) and the M.V. Pointsman fire (1984) at Milford Haven.
