Printed catalogue of an exhibition of paintings by Tomtu [emended to Thomhu in ink on the front cover] H. Roberts (1859-1938), early Canadian artist, at the Petrov Restoration Gallery Ltd., Vancouver, together with photocopies of genealogical memoranda relating to the artist's Welsh ancestors in the hand of his father, John H. Roberts.

Newspaper cutting relating to the family of Edwin John, who emigrated from Llantrisant, co. Glam., to the Pennsylvania coalfields in 1851 and eventually settled in British Columbia.

A typescript copy of 'And They Came To America' by Margaret Jones Williams, a fictional account, but based on factual evidence, of the lives of John and Margaret Rees, grandparents of the author, who emigrated to America from Aberystwyth in 1869.
