The Library was allowed to photocopy a register for the parish of Llan-gan, co. Pembroke, containing marriage entries, 1780-3 (banns 1775-6, 1799-1800, 1803), and an entry for baptism, 1855; together with a list of constables for the parish, 1744-?65, and churchwardens, 1833-41 and 1856-72. The signature of Nathaniel Rowland (1749-1831), son of Daniel Rowland (1713-90), is included in a marriage entry for 1782
This collection consists of two groups of the Llanfyllin manuscripts. Group I comprises commonplace books and a diary of William Baxter, Wesleyan Methodist minister; financial accounts relating to the Llansilin (Denbighshire) Wesleyan chapel and to the Bagillt Nonconformist Cemetery Company; miscellanea of T. Nicholls Roberts, Wesleyan minister; sermons, poetry, anecdotes, etc. Group II comprises minute books of Llanfyllin committees; material relating to the Powys Provincial Eisteddfod at Llanfyllin, 1892-1922; miscellanea of Evan Davies, Wesleyan minister; journals of Edward Jones, constable of Llanfyllin; correspondence, etc. relating to Llanfyllin antiquities; editions of the Magazine of the Myllin Literary and Debating Society, 1898-1901; material relating to the Cambrian Railway at Oswestry, to the Vale of Clwyd Railway and to the Wrexham and Ellesmere Railway; sermons; etc.
Three items, [c. 1730]-1931, relating to the parish churches of Llanfilo and Llandyfaelog Tre'r-graig, Brecknockshire. They comprise a leaf, [c. 1730], containing transcripts of memoranda relating to the provision of church services at Llandyfaelog Tre'r-graig (f. 7); a printed page, [1914], with contemporary manuscript note in the hand of the Rev. G. Ifor R. Jones, on the history of Llandyfaelog Tre'r-graig church (f. 9); and a printed booklet by G. Ifor R. Jones, Notes on the Antiquities of Llanfilo Church... (Brecon, 1931) (ff. 1-6).
