A small group of the papers of (Morgan) Goronwy Rees (1909-1979), former Principal of the University College of Wales Aberystwyth, 1953-1957, including correspondence, articles, notebooks and photographs. They relate mostly to Goronwy Rees's literary work, his resignation as Principal of the University of Wales, Aberystwyth and his links to the Cambridge Spy Ring and Soviet espionage.

The manuscripts of J. C. Davies, comprising material relating to Patagonia: a description of the country; notes on the folklore of Brittany and on folklore in general; correspondence; sermon notes; press cuttings; and miscellaneous extracts and notes.

Papers of Sir Cyril Fox, including archaeological correspondence, notebooks, reports, photographs, drawings, and heavily annotated copies of publications and offprints of articles and related press cuttings, together with personal material including letters, essays, poems, certificates, autobiographical notes, and genealogical papers. Also included are papers accumulated by Cyril Fox's son, Charles Scott-Fox, during the preparation of his published biography of his father.

Records of Refail (Jerusalem) Chapel, Berriew, 1891-2000, comprising church minute books, 1891-1990, membership rolls, 1954-1976, and Sunday School attendance registers and minute books, 1922-1961, together with a history of the chapel compiled by church members in 2000 to mark the millennium.

Manuscripts of D. Griffith Davies, 1887-1894, comprising archaeological notes and heraldic notes and sketches.

Two groups of letters from Welsh emigrants to America, 1846-1847, 1870-1878, together with letters relating to emigration from Wales, 1948-1955.

A collection of manuscripts, comprising a pharmacist's shop-ledger kept by the donor's father during 1852-95, and nineteenth-century material of Portmadoc interest, relating to shipping and shipping shares, the Tremadoc estate, the water supply, the District School for Intermediate and Technical Education, and eisteddfodau.

The manuscripts of J. Gwyndud Jones, comprising mostly religious literature, sermons and hymns.
