History

The English Presbyterian cause was established in Prestatyn in July 1900, with English language services following the services at Rehoboth Welsh Presbyterian Church. By September 1900 the English worshippers had found alternative accommodation at the old town hall. The Nant Hall Road site was found and bought, and the new church built and opened for public worship by August 1902. Nant Hall Road became by far the strongest church in the North Wales Presbytery, with a membership of 390 in 1962. Church Annual General Meetings were maintained until at least 1980, but had been discontinued by 1986 due to lack of support. The church celebrated its centenary in 2000.
