The manuscript is a composite volume and is divided into four books: Part I (pp. 49-434), Part II (pp. 435-512), Part III (514-942) and Part IV (pp. 943-998). Pages 57-432 appear to have been written before 1563; the remainder belongs to the mid-seventeenth century.

Pages 193-280 are of an earlier date than the remainder of the manuscript.
