The file comprises a letter from George Grant Francis, mayor of Swansea and founder of the Royal Institution of South Wales, to Mr D. Williams, 1844, asking for the first volume of the Cambrian Register for research purposes; a letter from S. Frydberg, 1946, Russian violinist, to O. Llew Owain, introducing himself and telling him of a scheme to establish a National Academy of Music in Cardiff, and offering his assistance in the project before he leaves for America; letters, 1888-1925, from the English tenor Edward Lloyd; a short, undated letter, apparently from the Welsh instrumentalist and composer, John Parry; a letter from the musician Brinley Richards, [19 cent., last quarter]; and a letter from Sir Michael Tippett, 1966, to the English pianist John Ogdon, relating to Priaulx Rainier's 'Barbaric Dances' and to a performance of 'St Augustine' in Berlin.
