They include an abstract of title of the trustees of the late Sir Watkin Williams Wynn (d. 1840), to estates in Montgomeryshire, 1858; a map showing proposed railways in Flintshire, 1873; letters to Longueville and Co. and the Wynnstay agents concerning the lease of Cafartha [lead] mine [Penegoes], 1870; objections to windows overlooking the Savings Bank at Wrexham, 1881-1883; printed notices of land required for Wrexham, Mold and Connah’s Quay Railway extensions and dock, 1881, numbered 37, 142-145; printed bills, correspondence and other papers concerning Hawarden and District Waterworks, and Flintshire Water and Gas Company, 1882-1883; a draft will of Sir Watkin Williams Wynn [1884]; a pedigree of the Williams Wynn family, 1789-[c. 1884]; observations on the valuation of stocks and debts on the Wynnstay estate; the entitlement of Lady Williams Wynn to valuables and deductions from the succession account, 1884-1887; letters concerning chief rent due out of Blaen y cwm, Llanidloes, 1886-1887; papers from a case brought in the County Court of Denbighshire by John Lloyd Roberts against Sir Watkin Williams Wynn for alleged sheep worrying by the defendant’s dogs, with map, 1893; papers from a lawsuit in the High Court of Justice, Queens Bench Division, between Sir Herbert Lloyd Watkin Williams Wynn and George Fox over the tenant’s refusal to quit Cae Clappiog, Ruabon, 1893-1894; an account of the Wynnstay Collieries, 1896-1897; and a magistrates’ court summons, with evidence, in the case of John Thomas Vaughan, proprietor of the Old Swan Inn, Oswestry, for unlawful drunkenness, 1908-1909.
