Scope and content
A copy of 'La Somme Appele La Miroir a Justices vel Speculum Justiciarcrum Factum per Andream Horne'. It is said to be transcribed from a copy belonging to Francis Tate and collated with an old manuscript in the College of St Benedict, Cambridge. A transcript of Tate's copy in the possession of one Jecell and collated with the Cambridge MS was printed in 1642. This copy is not in verbal agreement with the printed version, nor with the Cambridge Manuscript which was printed, with translation, for the Selden Society in 1895. The manuscript is in the same hand as MS 40 and part of MS 44.
