Accounts of the Pryse and Loveden family of Gogerddan and their agents, David Morgan and John Pierce, for mining operations at Henfwlch, Caethle, Allt y Crib, Island, Esgair Hir, Esgair Fraith, Cwmsymlog, Erglodd, Cwm Einion otherwise Penyfforddgoch, Esgair Llee and Grogwynion. They record the ore raised and weighed, duty ore, rents, labour, industrial equipment, carriage, shipping to Swansea, ore smelted at Gawllog (Wallog) 1779-1780, disbursements for copper mining at Esgair Fraith, 1786-1797, ‘extracts from Job Sheldon’s ledger A’, 1801-1805, and his receipts ‘for payments by Mr Pryse on account of his shares in Cwmsymlog Mining Company’, 1809-1810. Other significant names include Edward Pennant and Company, 1740-1741, the Flintshire Company, 1749, Robert Morris, 1753, Henry Bowdler, 1764-1768, Peter Lloyd, 1774, John Bonsall, 1784, John Smith, 1784-1785, and Rev. David Jones, 1807.
