Memorandum that in the King's Exchequer of Monmouth before Hugh Hunteley, the King's Receiver and Chancellor there, John Cooke, senior, surrendered all that meadow with appurtenances, lying in the parish of Monemouth between Walkemylhome, the land of William Scoryour late of John Colston, and the royal way leading from Monemouth to Obaston on all sides, which John Cooke among other lands and tenements late had of the King's grant by the Rolls of the Sessions held at Monemouth 4 September 26 Henry VI (1447) before William, Marques of Suffolk, Ralph Pole, William Cotton. Walter Cozfen, Thomas Yonge and others, the King's intinerant justices, under seal of the Exchequer of Monmouth to him John Cooke and his heirs, freely for ever, by the rents and services due, to the use of John Percyvale. Fine for licence of entry 12d. Seal.
