Memorandum in the Kings Chancery of Monemoth before William Herbert, kt., King's Receiver and Chancellor, of surrender by Johanna Guillim of Monemoth, widow, late wife of William Guillim, senior, deceased, of a messuage in the borough of the town of Monemouth, namely beyond Monowebridge, and two acres of land within the franchises of the town of Monmoth, with appurtenances, which messuage is situated next the bridge called Monowe-bruge, in breadth between the street there on one side, and a lane there leading from the stream of Monowe, namely between the cemetery of the church of St Thomas and the said messuage on the other, and extending in length from the said stream and bridge on one head to the messuage of Richard Duxton on the other; the said 2 acres of land lie together between the meadow called Humfreyes meed and the land of William Herbert, kt., to the use of William Guillim, son of the said Johanna, and Johanna, daughter of William Owen, otherwise Glovar of Monemouth and Phillippa Hopkyn and the heirs of William Guillim and Johanna, daughter of the said William Owen, otherwise Glover of Monemoth and Phillippa Hopkyn and the heirs of William Guillim and Johanna ap Guillim.
