Archive divided into political party headings as accorded to batches of papers in original accompanying lists of content descriptions. Each batch of papers has been transferred into archival envelopes/folders marked with brief description of contents. Each batch retains original order of papers.

Gwyn Griffiths is a former Welsh Liberal and Social and Liberal Democrats politician. He was the last chairman of the Welsh Liberal Party before it merged with the Social Democratic Party to form the Social and Liberal Democratic Party (later simply known as the Liberal Democratic Party) in 1988, and also served as Solicitor to the then National Assembly for Wales. He a member of the Welsh Political Archive consultation committee. (Information supplied by colleague.)
