Biographical history

The Broadhead Evans family lived in Anglesey, and Richard Broadhead had his home in Llanddona in the 18th century. Rev. John Elias (1774-1841) married the daughter of Richard Broadhead, Tre'r Gof, Cemmaes in 1799.

Denbigh, Flint, co. Flint, and Llandwrog co. Caernarvon; papers and correspondence of the Reverend John Elias, Llanfechell, of his brother, Rev David Elias, Pentraeth, and of his son, John Elias, Tre'rgof Isaf, Cemaes; and letters and accounts of William Evans, Tyfry, Pentraeth, who married a grand-daughter of Rev John Elias.
