Administrative history
The Lodge was established in 1866 and was originally registered at Cambrian House, Borth, Cardiganshire. It was registered in 1920 at the Oddfellows Hall, Borth, and in 1929 at the Public Hall, Borth. In 1919 the Unity ordered the transfer of the Cambrian's state insurance side to the St Davids Lodge because it had less than 50 persons insured with the State. The independent side of the lodge continued in existence, however, until 1958 when - with only ten members left - the lodge was amalgamated with the Rheidol Lodge. It was the first of the lodges in the Gwalia District lodges to be dissolved.
