The file comprises letters to John Griffith (2) of Garn, 1733-1757; correspondents include John Hosier, 1747-1757, on estate business, and Thomas Evans of Cambridge, 1750, describing Conyers Middleton's attack on the Bishop of London's Scheme of Prophesy. Other subjects not already discussed include trusteeship of the Voelas estate, destruction of personal papers in the fire at Garn in 1738, lawsuits, especially concerning title to Cwyber, 1739-1744, grazing rights in the Forest of Snowdon, 1748, mining, 1754, county election news, 1754.
