The file comprises letters from David Jones at Northwick Lodge, Harrow-on-the-Hill, to Father Desmond Chute (fifteen letters, 1952-1953, together with one other letter, 1956). These letters largely consist of David Jones's answers to Father Chute's queries concerning The Anathemata. There is also a typescript copy of the first letter and three typescript copies of a slightly abbreviated text of this letter.
