Allen estate accounts,

A statement of receipts and disbursements, 1768-81, in connection with the administration of the estate of John Allen of Llanelly, Carmarthenshire, together with particulars of encumbrances on the estate, and of money received by Miss [Elinor] Allen, 1768-76, from her tenants in Whitchurch [in Dewsland], Haverfordwest, Dale, Robeston, Hays Castle, Llanstadwell, etc., in Pembrokeshire. The administration accounts refer to a partnership with Thos. Bowen in a colliery at Llanelly, an annuity bequeathed to the poor of the parish of Llanelly, funeral expenses, the carriage of paintings from Dale to Haverfordwest, and the clearing of pictures sold to Sir Richard Phillipps [sic] [Lord Milford], the receipt of rents and of St. Anne's Lighthouse dues, the sale of household effects, etc.

A rental of the estate of W[illiam] H[enry] Scourfield, Moat, in the hundreds of Dungleddy, Roose, Dewsland, and Kemmes, co. Pembroke, and in the town and county of Haverford West, 1809-1818. Insets include additional accounts to 1821; conditions for letting land by auction at New Moat, 1812; and a holograph letter from Charles Child, Nayland, to [Henry] Rees, 1818 (arrears of rent).

At the end of the volume and on the end-papers are a rental from 1780 of an estate bought of John Rossant in Cosheston and Bigelly; memoranda of leases and payments, 1745-84; and undated valuations and measurements of properties.
