A carelessly compiled collection of 'cerddi' and 'penillion' written for the most part by David Morris, Llanwddyn during the period 1778-84. The majority of the poems are anonymous but a few are attributed to Hugh Morris, David Morris, Humphrey Jones, Griffith Evans, Thomas Edwards ('Twm o'r Nant') (1783), ?David Owen (Ceuna[n]t Coch) and David Llwyd ('o Gowny'). Also included in the volume are a few miscellaneous entries such as a notice of letting of Tynykiln, parish of Llanvehangel, Montgomeryshire, 1778; undated accounts; signatures of Thomas Jones (Cownu), David Davies ('Y Wevar'), etc.; receipts from David Morris, 1779; etc.
