Inventory of household furniture at Wynnstay, taken in February 1790; significant items include a model and elevations of Wynnstay by [James] Wyatt, contents of the chapel, an organ and harpsichord, portraits of the Williams Wynn family and the Wynns of Gwydir by [Thomas] Hudson and others, a painting of King Charles II and Queen Catherine by Sir Peter Lilly, further portraits of the Stuart royal family and British nobility, a Hogarth, Richard Wilson’s portrait by Mengs, landscapes, pictures mainly on religious or classical themes by William Parry and others, and the contents of Ruabon church organ gallery; also inventories of linen, 1807-1810.
