Biographical history
The Interim Committees were established to consider the tasks which were a priority for the council. Their work included cross curricular matters and developing advice on teacher education. These activites were reflected in the establishment of the four committees: core subjects, primary education, teacher education and whole curriculum. The committees operated from September 1988 to July 1989.
