The series comprises press cuttings from English newspapers and journals, 1863-[pre 1998], relating to Wales, and more especially to Cardiff.


A diary kept by the actor and designer John Garside, recording his tour of South Wales, September - November 1940, with The Old Vic Company, performing Shakespeare's Macbeth with Lewis Casson, Sybil Thorndike and others.
