Tempsiter court leet,

The manor, in the lordship of Clun, comprised the following townships: Clewilsey, Edicliff, Edenhope, Fynnon Vair, Hopebendrid, Llanfair Waterdine, Luckenhope, Mainstone, Menethesney, Hopebarris and Menutton, Obley, Purlogue, Pentrehodry, Rhugantine, Reilth, Selley, Spood, Trebrodier, Trevurward, Trebert [Skyborrah], and Whitcott Evan. Courts were held at the Court House in Clun. The records comprise two files, the Michaelmas leets for 1867 and 1872 respectively.

Letters of administration with will and 3 codicils annexed of William, marquis of Powis, granted by the Court of Delegates to the earl of Powis, dated 11 May 1749, a declaration of trust, dated 25 March 1750, and an assignment of £1,000, part of Lady Arundel's portion of £8,000, which had been assigned (29 Sept. 1739) by Lord Arundel to Mannock Strickland, in trust for Elizabeth, wife of George Fitzgerald, esq., dated 3 Dec. 1750, all listed as being part of this parcel in 'Powis Castle Estate Register of Muniments of Title'(now DA1)are no longer extant, at least not in the present parcel.
