'1922 File'. The papers include a long letter, 27 February 1922, from D. Lloyd George to Austen Chamberlain discussing the tenor of Coalition politics and the need to bring the Coalition to an end; a copy of A. J. Sylvester's memorandum 'Lloyd George retires from the Premiership: I serve Bonar Law'; and a letter, 23 October 1922, from Randall Davidson, archbishop of Canterbury, to A. J. Sylvester, and a copy of A. J. Sylvester's reply, 3 November 1922.

'1924 File'. The papers include an important file of correspondence on Liberal Party affairs comprising letters from H. H. Asquith, D. Lloyd George, Lord Gladstone and Sir Donald Maclean. There are also drafts of the Liberal manifesto for the 1924 general election.

'1925 File'. The papers include a letter, 2 January 1925, from Lord Riddell to A. J. Sylvester; and a number of typescripts of reminiscences by A. J. Sylvester, among them 'Madeira', 'With L. G. in Italy', 'Urban Land Policy' and 'L. G. introduces his Rural Land Policy'.

'1926 File'. The papers include a typescript memorandum 'The General Strike'; a file of typescript copies of correspondence relating to the Liberal Party and the General Strike, among them letters from H. H. Asquith (Lord Oxford), Sir Geoffrey Collins and D. Lloyd George.

'1928 File'. The papers include letters from Sir Thomas Carey-Evans and Frances Stevenson, and copies of a 'Report on Electioneering Methods practised by the United States Political Parties during the Presidential Campaign, October-November 1928'.

'1929 File'. The papers include a note on an interview between D. Lloyd George and Winston Churchill at the House of Commons, 18 February 1929, discussing the aftermath of the general election; a large group of press cuttings; and typescript reminiscences by A. J. Sylvester entitled 'European Motor Trip' describing the motor trip of the Continent undertaken by D. Lloyd George during the autumn of 1929.

'1931 File'. The papers include the text of D. Lloyd George's broadcast speech, 4 May 1931, on free trade and protection; detailed typescript reminiscences by A. J. Sylvester 'With L. G. in Ceylon'; and typescript copies of papers relating to the political crisis of the autumn of 1931, including a letter, 25 September 1931, from Sir Herbert Samuel to D. Lloyd George; a memorandum, 30 September 1931, by D. Lloyd George on the political situation and the call for a general election; a letter, 4 October 1931, from D. Lloyd George to J. Ramsay MacDonald; a memorandum of a conversation between D. Lloyd George and J. Ramsay MacDonald on 5 October 1931; letters, 9 October 1931, from Sir Herbert Samuel to D. Lloyd George, and 13 February 1931, from George Lansbury to D. Lloyd George imploring him to join the Labour Party.

'1932 File'. The papers include a letter, 13 January 1932, from Lord Lothian to D. Lloyd George; material concerning D. Lloyd George's return from Ceylon; numerous memoranda; and the typescript text of a speech given by D. Lloyd George to his constituents.

'1933 File'. The papers include a letter, 11 August 1932, from D. Lloyd George to Captain R. T. Evans; a letter, 14 September 1933, from Angus Watson to D. Lloyd George; a letter, 29 September 1933, from Lord Riddell to A. J. Sylvester; and a copy of D. Lloyd George's claim for the Old Age Pension, 17 January 1933.

'1934 File'. The papers include typescript copies of letters from J. Ramsay MacDonald to Lord Hankey, 19 April 1934, and from Lord Hankey to D. Lloyd George, 20 April 1934; and the typescript of D. Lloyd George's address to the National Eisteddfod at Neath, 9 August 1934.

'1935 File'. The papers include a typescript copy of a letter, 25 January 1935, from Lord Rothermere to D. Lloyd George; the text of D. Lloyd George's speeches at the Free Trade Hall, Manchester, 22 February 1935; notes for a speech at Edinburgh, 16 April 1935; and notes of a 'confidential talk', 11 March 1935, between D. Lloyd George and Leslie Hore-Belisha, the Minister of Transport.

'1936-7 File'. Includes a large number of press cuttings of the Royal Visit to Caernarfon in July 1937. D. Lloyd George was Constable of Caernarfon Castle. There are also typescript copies of a letter, 26 March 1937, from Neville Chamberlain to Winston Churchill, and of a letter, 1 April 1937, from Churchill to D. Lloyd George.

'1938 File'. The papers include a group of press cuttings relating to the golden wedding of D. Lloyd George and Dame Margaret in Jan. 1938.

'1939 File', including the typescript text of D. Lloyd George's speeches at the Caxton Hall, 10 October 1939 (on the Council of Action), at the Pavilion, Caernarfon, on 21 October 1939, and a broadcast speech of 6 December 1939. There is also a typescript copy of a note, 20 November 1939, from Sir Samuel Hoare to D. Lloyd George.

'1940 File'. The papers include a typescript copy of a letter, 29 May 1940, from D. Lloyd George to Churchill concerning the possibility of D. Lloyd George's entering the War Cabinet; a memorandum, 12 September 1940, by D. Lloyd George on 'The Situation: Present Position: Is it Retrievable?: How and to what Extent?'; typescript copies of letters, 1 and 7 October 1940, from D. Lloyd George to A. J. Sylvester, and, 18 November 1940, from D. Lloyd George to Gwilym Lloyd-George.
