Hughes, awdur yr adolygiad gwreiddiol (f. 35). = Peate resigned as sub-editor of the column after Evans, the editor, refused to print a piece by him criticizing a review (in the Tyst, 6 March 1924, Literature Supplement, p. i) of the first act of Saunders Lewis' play Blodeuwedd (as published in Llenor, 2 (1924), 231-244). Peate's explanation of events (ff. 14-17) was published in Baner ac Amserau Cymru, 5 June 1924, p. 5. Another version of the explanation is ff. 20-34. There is also a letter, 5 June 1924, to Evans from H. M. Hughes, author of the initial review (f. 35).
