Some one hundred and thirty letters and cards, 1966-1994 and n.d., to Dedwydd Jones, mostly from actors, playwrights and other prominent theatrical and literary figures in response to receiving copies of his works. Visitors Book for Angus McBean's studios in Endell Street and Islington, with over one thousand signatures from 1949 to 1968, almost all associated with the entertainment industry, some with added comments and drawings.
Among the signatures are those of actors Laurence Olivier (ff. 5, 43, 59), Vivien Leigh (f. 5), Marlene Dietrich (f. 23), Katharine Hepburn (f. 33 verso) and Richard Burton (f. 38), comedian Spike Milligan (f. 56), playwright Tennessee Williams (f. 28), songwriter Ivor Novello (f. 11) and singers such as Maria Callas (f. 61) and all four Beatles (f. 63 verso). Signatures added in January 1987 are of visitors to Fleming's Hall (f. 78 verso).
