T.' are lettered in gold on the upper cover, and 'House of Commons, 1840' likewise on the spine.

Thomasson; Mrs Catherine Anne Cobden; Thomas B. Potter; [Sir] Louis Mallet; Henry Ashworth; [Sir] Thomas Bazley; [Sir] Edward Baines; C[harles] Cobden; W. Cowper Temple; and others; and copies of correspondence between Mrs. Catherine Anne Cobden, Thos. Thomasson, Henry Richard, and others; and holograph letters to Henry Richard from John Morley, Viscount Morley of Blackburn, 1878 (the writer's proposed biography of Richard Cobden; A. J. Bound with the letters is an offprint of an article by the donor, the Reverend H. R.
