A ?holograph copy of a thesis on 'The Influence of the Old Testament on the Ancient Syriac Gospels' [submitted by William Porter for the degree of D.Litt. of the University of Edinburgh, 1906], and copies of a report on the said thesis and an accompanying letter sent by F. C. Burkitt [? Francis Crawford Burkitt, professor of Divinity, University of Cambridge], from Cambridge, to Dr. Kennedy [?
