Letters to 'Pencerdd Gwalia',

Letters and cards, 1851-1912, to John Thomas (Pencerdd Gwalia) reflecting his long career and including references to his early efforts to establish himself as a musician, to his concert tours abroad, and to his compositions.
Among the correspondents are Augusta Hall, Lady Llanover (17) 1851-1857, John Ceiriog Hughes (Ceiriog) (1) 1863, John Jones (Talhaiarn) (5) 1862-1866, and Franz Liszt (1) 1854. Also included are drafts and copies of letters, 1851-1910, from John Thomas.
