Peate, 1826-1983, including a substantial group of letters; papers relating to various literary works by him; papers regarding his professional career, including the establishment of the Welsh Folk Museum; and files concerning specific subjects relating to folk culture. In addition, the archive contains papers pertaining to members of his family, among which are diaries, notebooks, letters and accounts. Also included are papers accumulated by Iorwerth Peate and his relatives.
