Bert Trick,

Three letters, 2000, from Kerith Trick to Jeff Towns concerning a talk by the former about his father, Bert Trick, at the Dylan Thomas Festival, Swansea; together with notes, which appear to have been compiled by Ralph Maud; a typescript letter, 1962, from RM to Bert Trick, and an autograph reply by the latter in which he discusses Dylan Thomas's political views. Also included is a photocopy of an article, 'Dylan - the eternal Swansea boy' by Bert Trick, published in Country Quest (Autumn, 1960), pp. 26-27.

Bob Rees,

Undated holograph letter, [January 1939], (2 ff.), by Dylan Thomas to his former school friend Bob [Rees], written in black ink and sent from Blashford, in which he refers to a visit to Swansea, discusses his work, the proposed publication of a volume of poetry and prose, 'In the direction of the beginning', and the influence of Gerard Manley Hopkins on his writing. Also included are two typescript letters, the first being a photocopy, dated 1993 and 1995, from Bob Rees to Jeff Towns, containing reminiscences about DT and his father, D. J. Thomas.

An autograph letter, [1978], from Llewelyn Thomas to Daniel and Irene Jones, together with two postcards, 1998, from him addressed to Jeff Towns. Also included are press cuttings relating to Llewelyn Thomas, [1962]-2001; a copy of the Harvard University magazine, Gadfly, containing an article by him, 'Religion in Harvard', with related papers, 1959; and a xerox copy of his article published in the Australian newspaper, The Nation (October, 1971), 'On the impossibility of remembering father'.

Correspondence, 1975-2000, of Paul Ferris, including letters sent by him to Daniel Jones, Gwen Watkins and Jeff Towns, relating to his biographies of Dylan and Caitlin Thomas, and The collected letters of Dylan Thomas (London, 1985). Also enclosed are copies of three letters from Dylan Thomas to Caitlin, [1936], John L[?], 1942, and John [?Arlott], [c. 1945], and a letter-poem about New Quay, dated 1945.
