Aberystwyth miscellanea,

An album compiled by George Eyre Evans, containing a collection of one hundred and ninety-five autograph letters, manuscript poems and other documents, printed notices, broadsides, circulars, photographs, etc., of Aberystwyth interest. The majority relate to the Aberystwyth Dispensary, later known as the Aberystwyth Infirmary, and particularly to the payment of subscriptions, 1821-1844. Others relate to the erection and renovation of St Michael's Church, 1825-1846; the restoration of the parish church of Llanbadarn Fawr, 1867; the opening of the Public Library, 1906; and the Exhibition of the Centenary of the Introduction of Printing, 1909.
Included in the volume is a typescript schedule of the documents.

Resolutions passed at a meeting of the 'Young Men Society' at Tabernacle, Aberystwyth, 6 October 1846; papers relating to a church rate for the repair of St. Michael's Chapel, Aberystwyth, 1832, and to proceedings taken against dissenting ministers and others for non-payment thereof; an agreement for the conveyance of voters from Devil's Bridge to Aberystwyth, and bills of expenses and subscription lists in connection with the Cardiganshire election of 1868; adjudication of essays by Michael D. Jones, 9 December 1856; an agreement to let Aberystwyth Market Hall for the use of the Cardiganshire Choral Union, 1870; and recipes.
