Memoranda prepared by David Davies, 5 April 1922, for Lady Astor's visit to America. Her mission was the establishment of a voluntary society in the USA, similar to the League of Nations Union in the United Kingdom, to unify the activities of the existing societies in the United States - dedicated to propaganda and the education of the masses for the participation of the United States of America in foreign affairs. Its ultimate objective would be to secure the entry of the USA into the League of Nations.
