Correspondence between Sir Ifan ab Owen Edwards and M. Herri Caouissin relating to the attempt made by the donor on behalf of 'Urdd Gobaith Cymru' to foster a similar youth movement in Brittany.

Williams, 1944 (3), G[lyn] S[imon], 1957, 1968, Henry Brooke, 1959, 1962, T[homas] P[arry], 1961, Ifan [ab Owen Edwards], 1964, [Sir] Elwyn [Jones], Attorney General, 1966, [J.] Beverley [Smith], 1966, Idris Foster, 1967 (2), and Goronwy Daniel, 1969. Also included are a few copy letters from Ellis.

The series comprises letters from Ellen Edwards to her children Ifan ab Owen Edwards and Haf Edwards. The letters give mainly domestic, family and local news from the Llanuwchllyn area with constant references to to the activities of the children's father and descriptions of some of her travels with him.

Letters, 1966-1967, to T. I. Ellis following his illness, mainly from well wishers. The correspondents include Ifan ab Owen Edwards, John Richards, Bishop of St Davids, Kenneth [O.] Morgan and George Noakes. Also included are several typescript copy letters of Ellis's replies.

The file comprises letters, 1887-1933, to Samuel Maurice Jones from various correspondents, including Susan Mainwaring, Robert Bryan, Ifan ab Owen Edwards, O. M. Edwards, T. T. Lucius Morgan, Beriah Gwynfe Evans, and E. Davies Bryan.

The series comprises letters written mainly from the Board of Education offices at Whitehall, the family home at Neuadd Wen, Llanuwchllyn, and various locations which O.M. Edwards visited whilst Chief Inspector of Schools in Wales to his son Ifan ab Owen Edwards and daughter Haf Edwards. They contain family and domestic news, advice, and some of the letters include vivid descriptions of events in London and Llanuwchllyn.

The group comprises mainly letters from Ifan ab Owen Edwards to his parents, his sister Haf, and other members of his family, 1906-1920, together with letters addressed to Ifan, 1905-1918, and his school and university notes.

The series comprises administrative correspondence, including several letters from Sir Ifan ab Owen Edwards, and a copy of the programme for the Sixth Urdd National Eisteddfod held at Old Colwyn, May 1934.
