A small group of holograph letters and papers from the library of John Jones, vicar of Nevern with Cilgwyn. They include letters from Thos. Evans, Llangoedmore, 1853 (the behaviour of 'an unworthy and notorious Parishioner' of the recipient's, etc.) (with a draft letter endorsed relating to tithe arrears), and J. Lewis, Yspytty, Wrexham, 1856 (the freight of a heifer from Swansea to Liverpool); an incomplete copy of a letter written from Nevern Vicarage, 1858 ('the Tryddyn business') (with stanzas of Welsh hymns endorsed); an estimate by Charles Davies, architect, 1852, of the repairs to be done to the Parsonage House of Nevern, with other buildings, fences, etc., on the glebe; etc.

Miscellaneous papers, including a holograph letter from Benj[amin] Davies, from Paris, to his father [David Davies], undated (money matters, the object of the writer's visit to Paris); vouchers of Anne Davies, Llwyn, 1826-1847 (the shoeing of horses, repairs to Rhosybedw Mill, tithes of Llwyn, etc.); a memorandum of bills paid by Mr. John Price 'towards the Building at Rhosybedw', 1826; a statement of account, 1838-1839, from David Davies to Sir David Davies in respect of the planting of trees on the Rhosybedw estate; a holograph letter from Anne Davies, Llwyn, to D. Davies, Frwdfale, 1838 (a letter from Mr. Lloyd of Brunant concerning a bond); undated draft 'Answers to Mr. Davies's Queries' concerning the administration of the estate of Mrs. Price of Rhosybedw; a holograph letter from Timothy Davies, Commerce House, Cellan, to D. Davies [Ffrwdf©Øl], 1851 (a schedule of claims) (endorsed is a draft letter from [David Davies] to [Sir David Davies], 1855, relating to the possibility of increasing the rental of the Rhosybedw estate); etc.
