English translations of the diaries (f. 11 recto-verso excepted) can be found in Huw Watkin Williams, The Watkin Path to Patagonia (Neath, 2006), pp. 97-101, 105-119. There are also notes on Patagonia in Spanish, and in a different hand, on f. 4 (inverted text).
