Card., sister of David Richards, late of HMS Albion, who died 24 Feb. 1809. The check shows David Richards to have been entitled to prize money in respect of the Bonaventure (5 June 1803), La Petronella and The Swallow (the latter two both paid into Greenwich Hospital). Isaac Lloyd Williams was the son of Rev. Isaac Williams, sometime vicar of Llanrhystud, which may explain how this document came to be preserved at Cwmcynfelyn.
