Travelling to Portugal,

Snapshot, August 1934, of a group travelling on board ship to Portugal. They include Lloyd George and Frances and Jennifer Stevenson, and the ship's captain and his wife.

Transfer to Frances Stevenson,

Notification, 29 August 1917, in the hand of David Lloyd George that he has transferred to Frances Louise Stevenson bonds to the value of £500 in the last National Loan 'for her own sole use & benefit'. Accompanied by two envelopes labelled 'Prime Minister', one of these addressed to 'Miss F. L. Stevenson'.

Tangiers letters

Letters and telegrams, November-December 1935, mainly from their Churt home sent to D. Lloyd George and Frances during their visit to Tangiers. The file includes a letter from A. J. Sylvester and several from Ann Parry.

The series comprises files of correspondence and papers relating to various activities in which Frances participated, mainly to commemorate Lloyd George's name, including the Lloyd George Museum at Llanystumdwy, the statue at the House of Commons, and the upkeep of his grave. Other files concern her broadcasts for the BBC, and the work of historians and biographers of Lloyd George.

Stevenson-Longford Family Papers

The unit consists of letters and papers relating to various members of the Stevenson family, including Frances's sister Muriel, 1923-1962, and her brother Paul, 1910-1915, together with research notes and materials assembled by Ruth Longford.

South African War,

Manuscript account entitled, 'Statement of events connected with my departure from Free State, May 1900', and covering the period 22 May - 25 June 1900. It is signed, 'REB, 8 June 1900'. It is accompanied by an envelope addressed to Mrs Abercrombie Smith, St Cyrus, Wynberg Hill.
