Lord Albemarle was sent the previous day to the Hague with the opinions of the generals for the approbation of the States. All looks as if they are to have a very long campaign.

Mr Rob[ert] Harley and Dr Gibson's commendation of it. There is no haste of returning Mr Llwyd's English preface or Mr Urry's letter. He has answered Mr Hearne's letter and has engaged to take four books. If the recipient pleases two shall be at his service. He has so far ventured, without license, as to put the recipient down as a subscriber. If the recipient can think of any service that can be done him at Longleat there is no person that is more ready or better able to perform it than Mr Urry. Endorsed: name of writer, date.
