to Richard his son a piece of land in le Condicchfeld between the lands of John Glydde and Edmund de Pichford and extending from the field of Oldebury to the lands formerly of William othe Brugg', dominus John Dukel, chaplain, John le Berner and Richard Bergham, three ridges of land in le Hokefeld between the lands formerly of Robert Bergham and Richard Bergham, a selion in the same field between the land of Nicholas Haket and Walter le Goldsmyth and extending from the land of the said Walter to the land of the said Nicholas, a piece of land in Portmonefeld between the lands of Hugh de Aldenham and Matilda de Schuffenhal and extending from the old highway to the land formerly of Walter le Goldsmyth; to Katherine his daughter 3 acres of land, one lying in le Condicchfeld between the land of Roger de Clareleye and the land of Phillip le Palmer and extending from the stream of Oldebury to the stream called le Condicch sich, one in the field called Portmonesfeld near Portmondich between the land formerly of Thomas Robard and the land of John Glydde and extending from the land formerly of William de Wodyton to the land of the said John Glydde, and the third acre lying in le Hokefeld between the lands of Richard de Cagweleye, chaplain, and John le Palmer and extending from the land of Symon le Voulkar to land formerly of Nicholas Haket; testator ordained that John Rondulph should deliver £18 as an aid to the marriage of Isabell and Agnes, his daughters .... [erased] John de Burlegh 20s and John de Leynthal 10s.; he bequeathed lands in the field of Churchefeld, an annual rent of 4s. received from the land formerly of Adam de Scheynton in the same field, 4s. from the land formerly of Peter le Marcer, 2s. from curtilage lying there between the lands of John Crouk and Edmund de Pichford, 2s. from two selions in a croft outside the north gate between the lands of John Rondulph and Robert Bergham, 4s. from a tenement in Waterstreet formerly in the tenure of John de Beghturton, 3s. from a tenement in the said street between the land of John de la Mor' and a tenement in the tenure of Sibil Syteby, 5s. from a tenement in le Chircheway between [the tenement] of John de la More and the tenement formerly of Walter le Goldsmyth, a tenement in Brugg' near the conduit at the top of the street of Hongrey and in the same street between the tenements formerly of William de Eudon and John de Wyggemor' and extending from the highway to the tenements of the aforesaid William de Eudon and William de la Mor' for sustaining three priests to celebrate mass for his soul and the souls of his wife, parents and kinsmen in the church of St. Leonard of Brugg' at the altars of the Holy Cross and St/. Michael; to his son Edmund he assigned a moiety of the crops in his grange, granary and fields in Remulseye and a moiety of his stock there; to the service of the church of St. Milburge of Wenlok 10 marks; to the service of the church and monastery of Buldewas he assigned £6; to Mabel his wife the tenement in Hongrey in which he lives from the highway of Hongrey to the highway of Lessenestrete; the residue of his estate, after the settlement of his debts and legacies, to go equally towards masses and other alms for his soul, to his wife and his sons John and Richard; the residue of his goods he bequeathed in three parts thus, to Richard his son the tenement in Lodelowe had of the gift of John le Glovar, to Roger Burlyn half a mark, and to William de Bolde half a mark; he bequeathed to Thomas son of John de la Grene 10 marks.
