Letters, 1859-60, mainly to Lord Carrington, patron of the living of Llanfairclydogau, Cardiganshire, which became vacant in 1859, from clergymen soliciting the living or persons supporting the applications of some of the candidates.

The Edmwnd Prys Tercentenary

Letters received by Albert Owen Evans in connection with his work and writings in preparation for the tercentenary celebration, 1924, of the death of Edmwnd Prys, translator of the metrical psalms into Welsh, with copies of programmes, of addresses and sermons delivered on the occasion of the tercentenary, and of articles and booklets prepared by A. O. Evans.

Three volumes of material relating to Welsh versions of Thomas à Kempis's De Imitatione Christi, etc., collected by Archdeacon Evans when he was preparing the bibliography afterwards published in The Journal of the Welsh Bibliographical Society, IV, pp. 30-2.

Bangor National Schools

A printed appeal, issued 9 May 1866, for subscriptions towards the cost of erecting new National School buildings in Bangor, Caernarvonshire, with a list of some subscriptions.

Letters of sympathy received by Archdeaon A. O. Evans on the death of his brother, Captain John Henry Evans, in 1930. Among the correspondents are a large number of clergymen of the Church in Wales.
