A short experimental work whose title and inspiration was taken from an anthology of poetry and prose by art critic and novelist John Berger. Incorporating song and film, the production was a collaboration between Earthfall and the Welsh Independent Dancers and Man Act theatre companies. After the Birds/Po Ptakach was the product of collaboration between Earthfall and Polish theatre company Chorea, continuing the long-standing partnership between the two groups. Drawing on Aristophanes' comedy The Birds, the production combined ancient Greek choral song, contemporary music, vigorous dance, live music and film. aD utilised an all-male cast and the influence of literary works including Dylan Thomas' poem Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night to portray the relationship between father and son.
