Final typescript draft of Rhys Davies's novel, Tomorrow to Fresh Woods (London, 1941), with a few autograph corrections and a pencilled note by the author at the end of part I (f. 142) of the projected development of the narrative and estimated date of completion (NLW MS 23108C); together with an incomplete carbon copy of the same typescript with author's amendments (NLW MS 23109C).

The file comprises letters, 1938, relating to Rhys Davies's research on Jorgen Jorgensen who arrived in Hobart, Tasmania, in 1826, including typescript notes extracted from newspapers and documents held at the Premier's Office, Hobart, together with an incomplete account 'Iceland on a plate' by him about the adventurer [?published in The Tribune, January 1942] and a press cutting from The Tribune, January 1942, ?with the next chapter to this account entitled 'King Jorgen in decline'.
