A notebook into which have been pasted pages of the printed programme of 'Cymanfa Alawon Gwerin', held at Tabor, Maesteg, 9 February 1927, under the auspices of Cymrodorion Maesteg, with additions in the hand of Philip Thomas.

A letter book, 1917-1922, of Philip Thomas, Neath, containing mostly copies of his replies to invitations to adjudicate at local eisteddfodau and to conduct cymanfaoedd canu, chiefly in South Wales. Included are five Welsh folk-songs mostly in tonic sol-fa notation (ff. 71-72, 74-76).

A volume containing notes by Philip Thomas on the history of Neath Abbey (ff. 1-11), including an English prose translation of 'Awdl foliant i Leision, abad Glyn Nedd' by Lewys Morganwg (ff. 3 verso-8) (NLW MS 13780iC). Also included is an address, [c. 1926], by Philip Thomas entitled 'Literary and Musical Associations of Neath' (NLW MS 13780iiC).
