Individual chapels and schoolrooms,

Arranged by county. Class O, marriage registers, comprising items numbered O 1-35 and OZ 1-28, are listed separately in the original (paper) catalogue. The registers, whilst keeping their reference numbers, will now be found listed with the other records relating to the same chapel. Since 2000 records of individual chapels have been catalogued separately. A number of chapels have also deposited records at their local county record office. Many of these chapels are also represented here, in which case the related material is noted at the chapel level. Collections relating to chapels not represented here are noted at county level. A database of records relating to individual chapels-called Capeli-held by county archives services and the Library can be accessed from Library terminals.
