Stradling), of manors and lordships of Oxwych, Portynon, Penrice, Pennard, Nicholaston, Pitton alias Pilton, Horton, Burry alias Stembridge, Landimore, Webbley, and Reynoldston, etc., in the Seigniory of Gower, and m's and lands in Avan, Dennis-powis, Cardiff, Llangonoyd, and Ogmore, in consideration of the payment of £5,000 marriage portion of the said Elizabeth, and of his other debts, etc.

Release by Sir Edward Stradling of St. Donat's Castle, bart, to Sir Edward Mansell of Margam, bart, of all manors, lordships, lands, and tmt's mentioned to be conveyed to the said Sir Edw. Stradling by the said Sir Edw. Mansell in a former deed, viz., manors and lordships of Oxwich, Portynon, Penrice, Pennard, Nicholaston, Pitton alias Pilton, Horton, Burrey alias Stembridge, Scurlage, Landimore, Webley, and Reynoldston, and m's, etc., in Avan, St. Andrew's, Dennispowis, Cardiffe, Langonoid, Loughor, Lansannor, Lanharry, Newton Nottage, and Ogmore, and the farm called Fishweare in St Mary Church, etc., without infringement of the trust for the portion of Dame Elizabeth Stradling, wife of the said Sir Edw. Account of all the fish that was sent to Margam caught at Aberavan lower fishing from 31 May to 15 Sept. Subscribed: Receipt by William Lewis and John Jenkin to Stephen Howard [the Margam steward] for £4 4s. in full for 54 sewyns at 18d. per dozen and 3s. for two salmons.
