A page of an account of the journey from Lille to Freiburg, the remains of a letter or a diary, has been added.

Regiment, Sept. 1939-May 1940, and Scarborough, co. York, with the 125th O.C.T.U., May 1940. The letters include the start of the Second World War, including signing up with Lloyd James the announcer, 1 Sept. 1939. Six letters in envelopes found loose have been added.
