[Lady reading]

A middle-aged lady in a long dress and hat with veil sitting outside on a wicker chair and reading a book on her lap. In front of her is an oval or perhaps round, antique table with a tripod pedestal base, possibly mahogany. Beyond her is an extensive lawn which gives way to a parkland setting.

[Haymaking]

Three agricultural workers standing near a horse and two-wheeled cart. The cart is piled high with hay on which a fourth man is kneeling.

[Butler]

A male domestic servant, probably the butler, standing in in front of a tree trunk and posing in a dramatic fashion.

[Young woman seated]

A young woman seated in an armchair in what is believed to be the Billiards Room at Dolforgan. A number of photos in box 2 were taken in the same place.

[Glan Bechan, Betws Cedewain]

A two storey L-shaped, half-timbered farmhouse with 1651 visible on a jettied gable. There is a white picket fence in front and on both sides of the farmhouse. The farmhouse looks well cared for.
