An arithmetic example and exercise book based partly, according to a note on the first page, on 'Treeby's Astronomy' [i.e. S. Treeby: The Elements of Astronomy ..., London, 1821, or Upwards of seven hundred questions in Treeby's Elements of Astronomy ... [London, 1822]].

A volume compiled, 1811-1830, by Thomas Llewellyn of the parishes of Cardigan and Ferwig, Cardiganshire, chiefly containing arithmetical exercises but also miscellaneous notes and memoranda in English and Welsh, perhaps partly composed by him and partly derived from printed sources. These include a bidding letter for the marriage of Mary Owen and John Williams, both of the parish of St Dogmaels, Cardiganshire, 1816; draft documents relating to property in Cardigan and Ferwig; love letters and verse in English, including a number of Valentine rhymes; prognostications in Welsh and English on the weather and on lucky and unlucky days, together with astrological notes; two apparently unpublished ballads in Welsh, one of them, perhaps by Thomas Llewellyn, recounting a case of alleged slander by Sara Evans, a Methodist, against the Rev. John Herring (1789-1832), Baptist minister at Cardigan; and a transcript of the title-page of The [Supposititious] Works of Aristotle (Arbroath, 1801) (not recorded in the Nineteenth Century Short Title Catalogue).

Carmarthen, surveyor, and schoolmaster at Cwmdwr (Llanwrda), and Gwynfe, containing memoranda relating to rates, etc. in the parish of Talley; mathematical exercises; accounts, with names of pupils, relating to schools at ?Salem (Llandeilo) and Llan-crwys (inverted text ff. 72, 75 verso-6); and miscellaneous notes.

A volume containing arithmetical exercises, form letters and stories, compiled by John Lloyd (b. 1808) of Pant, parish of Llanegryn, co. Merioneth, 1824-1825, whilst a pupil at Mr Harling's Commercial School, Chester; family memoranda, including copy letters from John Lloyd's father, David Lloyd, have been added, [1820s]-1847 (ff. 344v-345, 378v-380).

A volume, 1809-1810, written by Joseph Meredith of the town of Carmarthen containing mainly arithmetical exercises, verses, and other memoranda including an account of the collection of money made among the workers at the Tinworks, Carmarthen, on behalf of the widow of a deceased forgeman, together with a copy of her petition, 1809 (ff. 79v-80v); inserted in the volume are two printed accounts, State of the Sunday Schools, near the Parade, Carmarthen ..., 1809 and 1810, with lists of the subscribers (ff. 77-8v). School arithmetic exercise book of Anne Davies, Pantyrodyn, later wife of Benjamin Jenkins of Porth-y-rhyd, Pant-y-caws, parish of Cilymaenllwyd, Carmarthenshire. The volume was begun on 3 August, 1860.

Cardigan, written while she was a pupil at Lledrod Board School, containing exercises in arithmetic, English composition and grammar, geography, history, letter-writing, and music.
