Williams, Berriew and Bullock Smithy, Cheshire, and letters addressed to him by D. & W. Rees, Llandovery, Edward Davies, Newtown, Richard Jones, printer, Dolgelley, John Bulmer, Haverfordwest, Caleb Morris and Thomas Lewis, Builth.

Flores Poeticae,

A transcript, with annotations, by John Lloyd James ('Clwydwenfro') of the Flores Poeticae of John Davies under the title 'Flores Poeticae: or the Poetical works of the late Rev. John Davies, of Glandwr and Moriah in the Congregational Union of the Welsh part of Pembrokeshire: Being copied from his own collection, in manuscript, by his disciple and admirer, John Lloyd James ('Clwydwenfro'), March, Cambridgeshire, 1897, Volume I'. The transcriber has added compositions of his own on matters connected with Ietwen, John Davies, and his children, and transcripts of other writings by John Davies. At the end of the manuscript is a Cardiff printed broadside 'Mynwent Hebron' by John Lloyd James, 1862.

Pregethau

'Special sermons of the late Rev. John Davies, congregational minister of the Welsh Churches at Glandwr and Moriah, in the Pembrokeshire Association of Churches. These sermons were preached on special occasions, and were selected out of his manuscripts by the Rev. J. Lloyd James, once a private pupil of the author, and to whom he was indebted, in early life, for lessons in Greek and Latin; hence the interest he took in his manuscripts, and copied all he could with a view to their preservation.
