Short stories and essays

Manuscript or typescript copies and press cuttings of short stories and essays, written under various pseudonyms but probably by J. Lloyd Williams himself. The majority were published in the Western Mail and Y Faner. Some items included relate to Welsh music or botany.

Lectures and addresses

Lecture and address notes relating to education and teaching, some delivered at school prize-giving ceremonies; religion; and Welsh nationalism and language. One address, delivered at Bangor, April 1935, relates to his life and work.

Accounts

Personal financial accounts and papers, including some accounts relating to the sales of publications, broadcasting fees and lectures, and a few items, 1929-1932, relating to Bronant, his Bangor home.

Choir register

A University College of North Wales Class Register containing the attendance records of members of the College's Royal Choir, July 1911, and Graduation Choir, November 1911. A programme of music for the graduation ceremony, November 1906, in J. Lloyd Williams's hand, is also included.

Concerts

Notices of concerts, 1885 and 1892, in which J. Lloyd Williams was the accompanist, minutes of a meeting of the Garn Juvenile Choir, August 1882, and the programme of a 'Magic Lantern' held at Garn schoolroom, November 1884.
